Mountaineering is an activity which takes place in highly unpredictable nature. There is always a risk of injury. The mountain guides of the Slovenian Alpine school will do everything in our power to keep you safe and relaxed.

We cannot, however, assume responsibility for your own actions, carelessness or force majeure. We warmly recommend to our guests to obtain accident insurance with coverage for mountain activities.

If you pay an annual membership fee in one of the European hiking and mountaineering associations (PZS, BMC, DAV, AV...), you also have basic coverage for rescue operations in the mountains.

For those who do not wish to become members of any association, suitable accident insurance for the duration of the tour or course can also be arranged against payment in the Slovenian Alpine school. We recommend one of the insurance packages on offer that provides the best coverage by the Europäische Reseversicherung insurance company which is part of the Generali group.
