When selecting a guide for your course or tour, it is recommended to select a person who is willing to listen to your desires and take into account your abilities. The guide must also be able to realize and upgrade your skills. The mountain guides with the IFMGA  license are experienced Alpine mountaineers who have finished mountain guide training according to rigorous international standards. We also carry out our guide services according to these standards.

Slovenian mountain guides are members of the ZGVS - Združenje gorskih vodnikov Slovenije (The Association of Mountain Guides of Slovenia). It is well known that "guides" (mountaineers, Alpine climbers, instructors, mountain rescue workers...) also provide guide services, however, they lack the appropriate training and knowledge required to provide safe guide services everywhere and under all circumstances. Think before you invest your time and money, and put your safety into the hands of a "guide" who is not fully responsible for their actions and lacks the required skills to provide successful guide services in the mountains. Anyone who experiences professional guide services will recognize the difference easily. We recommend you only hire mountain guides who are members of the ZGVS for your mountaineering activities.

In the company of experienced mountain guides, you will acquire new skills and experiences and will be able to fully devote yourself to the experience without excessive fear. Everyone is unique, therefore the most attention is paid to the individual - even when they are part of a group.
